Hi, my name is Tanya Sutaria! I am originally from India and currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University. I have always been passionate about supporting individuals in navigating life’s challenges and helping them create meaningful and fulfilling lives. I am especially interested in working with concerns related to depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, and PTSD. I am committed to helping clients develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and strengthen their sense of self as they work toward growth and healing.

I am particularly interested in working with adolescents and adults, and I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My counseling approach is primarily influenced by person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which allows me to meet clients where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs and goals.

Outside of my professional and academic work, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time in nature. I also value connecting with friends and family, as well as engaging in activities that help me recharge and maintain balance in my own life.

I look forward to the opportunity to support individuals on their journey toward greater well-being and self-discovery!
