Hello! My name is Jessica Rueda. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at Aurora University and earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University. I am dedicated to creating welcoming and supportive spaces where clients and their families feel comfortable, valued, and empowered.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life challenges. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based practices, and play therapy techniques. I aim to help clients feel heard and supported while developing coping skills, strengthening resilience, and gaining a deeper understanding of their emotions.
My goal as a therapist is to foster a warm and nonjudgmental environment where individuals and families can explore their experiences and feel supported throughout their healing journey. I look forward to working alongside clients as they build confidence, develop new skills, and move toward greater well-being.
