Hello! My name is Kingsley. I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling at National Louis University. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I developed a strong foundation in human behavior. Through my coursework and clinical training, I am strengthening my understanding of clinical care rooted in respect, authenticity, empathy, and comfort.
I am deeply passionate about supporting adolescents and adults as they navigate life's challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional difficulties, and other personal concerns. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share your story and explore your vulnerabilities. I believe meaningful growth begins with feeling safe, heard, and validated. Together, we can explore your experiences and work towards the change that matters to you!
My counseling approach incorporates both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT). I tailor my approach to meet each individual’s needs and goals because I believe that everyone’s experience and path to growth are different.
No matter what challenges you face, you are not alone, and I would be honored to work alongside you and offer my support throughout your personal journey!
