Deeya Wadhwani, Intern
Hi, I’m Deeya!
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating a wide range of experiences, including relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, family conflict, and life transitions. I’m currently pursuing my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northwestern University and am deeply committed to supporting people in building more connected, fulfilling lives.
I especially enjoy working with kids, young adults, and families/couples. My approach is grounded in Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), which helps me consider the many layers that shape your experience—such as family, culture, community, and personal history.
My style is warm, collaborative, and curious, bringing empathy and a nonjudgmental stance to every session. I like to balance support with gently challenging patterns that may no longer serve you. I value creating a space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and respected.
I take care to understand your unique lived experience and tailor therapy to what works best for you. I believe growth happens through connection—whether with yourself or others—and therapy can be a powerful place to explore that. I look forward to working together!
