Hello, my name is Katie! I specialize in helping individuals of all ages navigate anxiety, stress, trauma, and major life changes. I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Chicago, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Elmhurst University.

My background includes experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I provided ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum. This role allowed me to deepen my knowledge and skill set working with both children and their parents to foster a calm and safe environment for the therapeutic process. 

I take a client-centered approach to therapy, meaning your unique experiences, needs, and goals are at the heart of our work together. I’m committed to creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. Together, we’ll build a personalized plan that supports your healing journey!

Self-care plays an important role in my own life, and for me, that often means spending time with my animals! I have four cats and two young horses, and they’ve been some of my greatest teachers in patience, empathy, and unconditional care.
