Hello! My name is Cendy, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work at Northeastern Illinois University. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or seeking personal growth, I would be honored to support you.

My approach is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed care and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am committed to working collaboratively with clients to meet their needs, understand their unique experiences, and support them in reaching their personal goals. Whether you are seeking therapy for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, I am dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

Before beginning my clinical training, I worked with children, adolescents, families, and community members through mental health education and substance use prevention programs. These experiences deepened my passion for promoting emotional well-being, building resilience, and connecting individuals with meaningful support.

I am pleased to provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create an inclusive, culturally responsive environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds feel heard, respected, and valued. I believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space throughout their therapeutic journey.

Together, we can explore life's challenges, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful personal growth.
