Hi, my name is Alyssa! I’m passionate about helping individuals feel more grounded in who they are and supported through life’s challenges. I specialize in working with those navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, PTSD and trauma, and LGBTQIA+ concerns.

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at Aurora University, with the goal of becoming a licensed clinical social worker. My work is rooted in the values of dignity, self-determination, and meeting clients where they are. I believe in creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported—especially during vulnerable and uncertain times.

My approach is client-centered and integrative, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based techniques to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I also keep in mind the broader systemic and cultural factors that can impact mental health and identity development.

Whether you’re processing past experiences, exploring your identity, or navigating life transitions, I’m here to offer empathy, perspective, and practical tools. Everyone’s healing journey is unique, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you work toward growth, resilience, and self-understanding.
