Administrative Internship Opportunities
In addition to clinical placements, Feel Good Counseling Center also offers Administrative Internship positions. This role serves as the "front line" of our group practice—you are the first point of connection for individuals seeking support. This opportunity is ideal for high-achieving undergraduate students or recent graduates who want a 360-degree view of how a professional mental health group operates.
As an Administrative Intern, you are an integral part of the client’s journey, ensuring that every person who reaches out to us feels welcomed and supported. Beyond the daily operations, you will be immersed in a professional, inclusive, and collaborative environment. This role provides a unique bridge to the clinical world, offering you the chance to connect with and learn from our diverse staff of therapists, clinical directors, and supervisors. We encourage our interns to use these resources to their advantage—asking questions, seeking mentorship, and learning from a wide range of professional perspectives in a space that values both your growth and your contributions.
Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:
Client Intake & First Impressions: Managing the front end of the practice by handling initial inquiries, conducting phone screenings, and guiding new clients through the intake process with empathy and professionalism.
Scheduling Coordination: Learning the complex logistics of managing clinician calendars and matching clients with the right providers to ensure a seamless experience.
On-Site Practice Support: Serving as the welcoming face for our in-person clients, managing the office environment, and ensuring the physical space remains a sanctuary for healing.
Marketing & Community Outreach: Assisting with projects that grow our presence in the community, from social media support to coordinating with local referral partners.
Professional Networking: Engaging with our diverse team of clinicians to learn about various therapeutic modalities and the realities of working in the mental health field.
This role is a great fit for:
Undergraduate Students: Those in Psychology, Social Work, or Communications who want to bridge the gap between their studies and a professional career.
Aspiring Clinicians: Individuals who want to understand the client experience and the business infrastructure before they begin their own graduate clinical training.
Future Healthcare Leaders: Those seeking to develop elite communication and organizational skills in a high-energy, mission-driven environment.
