What are Mom’s Magic Trauma Sprinkles?
All parents have had the experience of a traumatised
and crying child who is difficult to console!
Mom’s Magic Trauma Sprinkles are an effective
natural remedy for any type of childhood shock or
trauma. Whether your child has experienced an
emotional fright, physical trauma or is even just
uncontrollably upset, these pleasant tasting granules
will immediately soothe and calm your child. In
addition the inclusion of Arnica will promote
healing after physical injury. Simply sprinkled on
the tongue (no fuss and bother to add to the upset!) these Trauma Sprinkles will quickly calm
your child and restore a sense of well-being -
without any sedation or negative effects.
Emotions tend to be very volatile in little ones and
they are still learning the skills to deal with
frustration and disappointment. This means that even
the smallest of events can cause them untold amounts
of distress. How many times as a parent have you
heard horrendous crying and rushed to your child,
expecting some serious injury, only to discover that
their favourite toy has fallen behind the bed or
Dave the dog has chewed Daisy the doll!
From the child’s point of view these events can be
just as distressing as larger events would be to
older children and adults. The enormity of the event
is less important than the effect it has on your
child. How your children learn to deal with these
situations and how we help them to do so, sets the
stage for their future coping skills and emotional
health (see more parenting tips below).
Mom’s Magic Trauma Sprinkles are very easy to
administer and are quickly absorbed through the
mucous membranes of the mouth for rapid relief. When
children are screaming or crying inconsolably, it is
virtually impossible to get them to swallow anything
so Mom’s Magic Trauma Sprinkles are the ideal
on-the-spot remedy.
Natural Kids Mom’s Magic Trauma Sprinkles contain a
combination of herbal and homeopathic ingredients
that are 100% safe and natural and are effective and
well known remedies for shock, trauma and anxiety.

Sprinkles have been developed with care by our

What are the
Ingredients?
Mom’s Magic Trauma Sprinkles contain the following
carefully chosen herbal and homeopathic ingredients
in therapeutic dosages:
Aconite (30C)
is a proven homeopathic remedy that is traditionally
used to alleviate the sudden fears, anxiety and
restlessness that can result from frights and
traumatic experiences. Aconite is particularly
effective when taken at the onset of the distress.
Chamomilla (30C) is a calming homeopathic remedy used for irritability and
in times when your child is difficult to soothe.
Chamomilla is particularly effective when the
emotional reaction seems out of proportion to the
situation or event.
Arnica (6C)
is the leading homeopathic remedy for accidents, trauma,
shock and injury. In fact, Arnica was part of the
essential first aid kit carried by all German
soldiers during World War II. Not only will Arnica
address emotional distress and fear but, taken
early, it will also reduce physical pain, swelling
and bruising.
Passiflora Incarnata
(Passion Flower) is widely used as a natural
calmative. Passiflora will relieve nervous
restlessness and soothe stress and anxiety. The
relaxing properties of Passiflora will also
encourage rest and healthy sleep as part of the
natural recovery process.
Scutellaria Laterifolia (Scullcap)
is a native North American herb that is now well
used world wide. Scullcap has been used for over 200
years as an effective nerve relaxing tonic and is
ideal for children who are distressed. The calming
properties of Scullcap will reduce anxiety and
nervous tension.

“We were at a children’s birthday party last month
and my son, who is 4, fell out of the tree he was
climbing. While I was trying to hold onto Devon and
calm him down the birthday boy’s mom rushed out with
your Magic Trauma Sprinkles and quickly sprinkled
some in his mouth. Within minutes he was much calmer
and, after the next dose, was back on his feet
again. Even the bruising wasn’t as bad as I
expected. Needless to say I have now placed an order
with you”
G Everson, USA
“I have been using Mom’s Magic Trauma Sprinkles at
home for all sorts of little things. Sadly, a few
months ago, I lost my mother very unexpectedly. My
children were very close to her and I knew that it

and we were able to deal with this extremely
emotional time just that little bit better.”

Children can experience the same feelings of shock and
denial after a seemingly trivial incident that an
adult would experience after much larger events. The
disparity between what a child experiences and what
an adult experiences as traumatic can be enormous.
For example, a child with a broken toy may be extremely
traumatized, thinking that it may never be fixed again.
Adults who do not understand what the child is
feeling, may underestimate the extent of the
trauma that the child is experiencing.
There are many different things that you can do to calm and
comfort your distressed child and to alleviate the
emotional consequences of trauma. Here are a few
suggestions that can be tailored to the severity of
your child’s distress.
-
A
big hug and lots of love will go a long way to
calming your child and providing a solid foundation
for emotional recovery. Physical affection is very
comforting to children who have experienced trauma.
-
Children pick up on your emotions and anxieties so
stay calm and they will pick up on this too.
Allow your child to be a little more dependant on
you and cling to you a little more than usual while
they get over the shock.
-
Let your child share feelings about an event
through play experiences. Children often find it
much easier to share their feelings through
non-verbal communication.
-
Verbalize
your younger child's feelings. Children often
feel calmer once they know that they are
understood.
-
Do not tell
upset children that they are being silly or are
'cry babies'. This may cause them to deny their
own feelings and can cause emotional problems
later in life.
-
Encourage your older children to speak about
their
thoughts and feelings. Constantly re-assure them
that you care for them and understand their fears.
-
Stick to regular schedules for activities such as
eating, playing, going to bed. Keeping routine will
provide a sense of security and normality.
As children grow, they gain a greater understanding of
the world around them and develop the appropriate coping skills. As
parents, we need to nurture these skills, promote a
healthy self esteem, provide comfort and security
and show our children that we value them. A word of
encouragement – children do develop skills to deal
with daily traumas and frustrations and this is all
part of normal, healthy development!
When your child
experiences serious or prolonged trauma.
Occasionally children may suffer severe anxiety or develop
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result
of a traumatic experience such as being involved in
a natural disaster or being exposed to violence. This may manifest in
the following ways:
·
Increased need for physical and emotional closeness
·
Fear of separation
·
Sleep difficulties
·
Loss of appetite
·
Bedwetting
·
Changes in the way they interact with others
If you are at all concerned that your child is showing
signs of prolonged anxiety or depression after a traumatic experience, please contact your health care practitioner
for further evaluation. Children over the age of 4
who are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder, chronic anxiety or depression, would
benefit from regular use of our
Mindsoothe Jr. Herbal Drops.
